Little Imaginations offers role play drama sessions for early years. Each session we take our students on a magical, imaginary adventure. Whether it is having tea with Queen, fighting off baddies or roaring with lions, we always have fun! Our sessions are full of props, music, puppets, excitement and imagination as well as being led by professional actors with a love for early years education. Our sessions are designed to build the following...
Creative drama stimulates creativity and self-expression. It encourages children to get outside their own “selves” and try something new
Learning new songs, playing new games and participating in pretend play (when children must take on the language of the role they are playing), all contribute to a child's developing vocabulary.
Exploring the lands of a new world or finding inventive ways to save the day - creativity is at the heart of everything we do
Creative drama can also encourage language development and communication skills, promote a positive self-concept, and raise social awareness and empathy
Here at Little Imaginations Creative Arts we believe a child’s mind is full of inventive and imaginative ideas which should be nurtured and expressed in a safe and magical environment. We aim to give children a foundation of creativity for their years to come, striving to be a starting point for the next generation of creative writers, poets, playwrights, actors and artists! We hope to be an environment where friendships flourish and confidence grows organically through the magic of drama.
All of teachers are fully trained to teach Little Imaginations classes. Our teachers follow trialed and tested plans to give you and your child the best session. Our teachers are all professional actors who have trained at accredited drama schools.
