Little Imaginations offers role play drama sessions for early years. Each session we take our students on a magical, imaginary adventure. Whether it is having tea with Queen, fighting off baddies or roaring with lions, we always have fun!  Our sessions are full of props, music, puppets, excitement and imagination as well as being led by professional actors with a love for early years education. Our sessions are designed to build the following...

Creative drama stimulates creativity and self-expression. It encourages children to get outside their own “selves” and try something new

Learning new songs, playing new games and participating in pretend play (when children must take on the language of the role they are playing), all contribute to a child's developing vocabulary.

Exploring the lands of a new world or finding inventive ways to save the day - creativity is at the heart of everything we do

Social Skills

Social Skills

Creative drama can also encourage language development and communication skills, promote a positive self-concept, and raise social awareness and empathy

Here at Little Imaginations Creative Arts we believe a child’s mind is full of inventive and imaginative ideas which should be nurtured and expressed in a safe and magical environment. We aim to give children a foundation of creativity for their years to come, striving to be a starting point for the next generation of creative writers, poets, playwrights, actors and artists! We hope to be an environment where friendships flourish and confidence grows organically through the magic of drama.

All of teachers are fully trained to teach Little Imaginations classes. Our teachers follow trialed and tested plans to give you and your child the best session.  Our teachers are all professional actors who have trained at accredited drama schools.

Are the children in your nursery mad on role play? Then Little Imaginations is the perfect activity. We are able to channel their love for role play into a structured and beneficial class. Book us for a weekly session as your venue.

The first time my 3 year old daughter went to a Little Imaginations class, she did not say a word due to her extreme shyness. It's now been three months of weekly classes, and her face lights up every week when I tell her we're going to drama class. She is unrecognisable: she participates more than other kids now, shows us her best dance moves, and enjoys every single minute of it. Little Imaginations is definitely our highlight of the week!

Nina (Finchley Venue)

What a fantastic class. We started Little Imaginations when my son was 2 and continued until he was 3 and started nursery (so sadly couldn’t make the class any longer). I think of all the classes we have tried this has to be our favourite. Nicola engages in wonderful fantasy play with the kids, and each week changes the theme. My son enjoyed every week and learnt so much from the classes and still, months later, is singing the songs he learnt there. I cannot recommend this class highly enough! Great for creativity, concentration, listening skills, and just pure fun and enjoyment. Well done Nicola, you’re brilliant with the kids, have extraordinaries patience, and put in so much effort. Thank you!!

Nicola is fun, friendly and inclusive, always making sure even the shyest children are included (but there’s no pressure). My son absolutely loves the role playing and games, his confidence is growing every week. It’s a lovely cosy space and parents can take part or not as preferred.

Leyla (Crouch End Venue)

I would recommend Drama Classes lead by Nicola with all my heart! She is a great, enthusiastic person and kids love her! It's such a fun to role play your favourite books when you are a 3year old. Escaping from Gruffalo, jumping over big river, scare away a monster? No problem! With teacher Nicola everything is possible. You can easily notice that even shy kids are getting more and more confident with every week! 5/5
